Review by hotel critic
Nestled by the picturesque Lake Misurina, Quinz - Locanda Al Lago offers a tranquil retreat perfect for exploring the stunning Tre Cime. The value proposition here is commendable, with attentive staff providing swift service and a reasonably priced menu showcasing delicious local fare. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, exuding a charming Italian hospitality that reflects the hotel's rich familial history. The convenience of having a ski pass vendor on-site is a plus for winter enthusiasts, although the limited free parking may pose a challenge during peak seasons. The addition of a bar/lounge area adds a cozy touch to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. While the lack of certain amenities like ski equipment hire may be noted, the overall ambiance and warm reception compensate for it. The Quinz family's dedication to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere shines through, making this a delightful choice for those seeking a balance of comfort and affordability in the heart of the Dolomites.
